Great pips...

I lost power again. This time for about 20 minutes...I hope my eggs are okay still. 2/5 had pips they were working on.

The last time I lost power,I brought the hatcher in the shed and closed the door. It's usually about 85° in there and since I'm in Louisiana,it's super humid. Also, I buy handwarmers just in case. You can put them under towels and put them under the turner or under the screen.

I was sleeping through the last outage and woke up because the chicks were chirping loud (the heat was out for them)... We had two outages today.Didn't even think of thehand warmers...thatwould have worked under my little brinsea. I am not concerned about the cabinet because that cools anyhow....but, my lockdown is the honas...

Got one chick out. It looks like it's mom(buff orpington) but is kind of small. Could be part Japanese bantam. It's yellow with a black dot on its head. It's healthy and drying off. I guess time will tell.

It's chirping and the ones inside the eggs chirp back. So cute
