Lost power a bit ago...incubators dropped a bit.  I was quick insulate them when i heard it click out and then started praying...!!

I hate when that happens. We haven't had any outages until I started up the incubator and now it has happened 3 times.

Couldn't be a worse time...got pips....lets lose power! UGGH. Not once but twice.

Day 18 for my peeps. Candled eggs, they are all full of babies. Filled both channels and added paper towel. Lined the tray with shelf liner. Removed the bars and placed eggs on their sides. Waiting for humidity to come back up to see if I need a sponge. I hope I did ok. Getting a bit nervous now. I moved the incubator into the larder as there is no air conditioning vent in there. I have noticed the humidity dropping during the night when the ac is on 70 f. You can't see much but here is my candle pic.

Good luck! Sounds like you are all prepared!!! Throw a humidifier on if you think the AC is drawing the water out of the ambient air.

Well, the two pips yesterday did hatch! I have one Swedish Flower chick and one black Swedish chick. Hoping the other 3 honas hatch. I really need a hen!

I know its late in the game, but may I join in? I am in lockdown on 14 purchased pb Ameraucana eggs in the Brinsea. Just lost 30 of my own CL and EE eggs yesterday...LG incubator was new, bought it as a back up, had terrible temp fluctuations. Started a broody, according to directions here on BYC, put 12 of my own EEs under her today. Probably too many eggs, but she is a big commercial Black Australorp. I have a second broody in waiting. I guess mine is more of a late-may-early-june hatch-a-long! Oh well, I am optimistic about the different clutches set to hatch.

Welcome~ Sorry to hear about the failure of your incubator. My styrobator is like that...I have to fill it up with ball canning jars to keep the temps steady.
