@emma pI've never hatched bantams but from everything I've read (and I've read a lot) they do typically hatch a day or so early.

It's day 18! Finally lockdown day! I'm getting super excited and nervous.
Anyone else expecting a hatch on the weekend?

These are my Blue Splash Marans and the dark one is a Golden Lace Wyandotte crossed with the Blue Splash Rooster. I gave the hen 14 eggs ans she hatched 10. Better than my incubating skills.

I have 41 eggs in the incubator and 4 have hatched so far. Today is day 21.

It's day 18. I just candled for lockdown I'm worried my air sacs aren't big enough.
And placing them on their sides with the lowest side of the air sac up was a challenge they kept rolling into each other I may make some cardboard "channels" to keep them from rolling into eachother.

It's day 5 for me, and I had to have a quick sneak peak while adding water. I candled a couple and I saw a small dark mass with veins. This is my first time, so I am super excited. Hubby told me off. I will do a proper session on friday which will be 7 days. I did see a couple that looked a bit suspect.

Today is day 24 for my ridley bronze turkeys, 9 left out of 15. 4 were infertile and 2 were early quitters. With candling 2 are visibly moving around, and the rest are solid dark masses that are hard to see. The power just went out and am losing my marbles hoping it comes back on soon and the eggs don't get a chill

I am thankful the power only went out for 30 mins, what a scare!

My temperature keeps messing around I woke up to it being to low this morning, and the other day it was too high. Hopefully I haven't lost any from that. I need to find something to keep it steady.

I'm freaking out.
