May hatch along :)

I seem to be a bit late. XD

Set 8 Serama eggs today. They were shipped, but I've had some successful hatches with shipped Serama eggs before.
Due anywhere from the 27th to the 29th. I've had some hatch on day 19, others on day 21, so we'll see how it goes.

Turkey eggs are on lockdown now. I can't wait! I hope they hatch soon! During the wait so far I built a mini fridge incubator that will hold 10.5 doz chicken to turkey size eggs or a few hundred quail eggs. with egg tipper and got a cheap home depot thermostat to work well for incubating. What to set now? Oh the possibilities!

Oh wow! You are hatching big time!!!

Hahaha, I didn't even hatch out my first eggs yet and I'm going big lol. I built my cooler incubator and took some things I learned to build a bigger, better incubator than what I had.

One of my marans just hatched out three healthy babies between Wednesday and Thursday. One more hatched out today but the chick is just lying there. It is alive and breathing but is not getting up. Mom pushed it away after it had broke the shell and i put it back under her but she pushed it away again once it was almost completely out of its shell. Now it is shell free but just lying there and mom is ignoring it. Is this normal? It does not seem normal at all. Shouldn't she be keeping it warm until it is dry and ready to mingle? Is this chick probably going to die? Should I intervene?

I'm going to join in if that's okay. I don't have any chickens going this month but I just hatched out four barnyard chicks, mostly out of curiosity.

In my incubator right now I have 7 button quail eggs. They will be due about the 22nd. I have two pairs of button quail and one of my hens hatched her own eggs for me last week, but then her mate killed them all so I'm back to hatching in the incubator.

I have 7 hungarian partridge eggs that will be due at the end of the month. I did some reading and it seems that they usually take 23-25 days.

I also have 10 texas blue scale quail eggs that should be due at the same time as the buttons on the 22nd. I originally had 12 but two were clear so I already tossed them.

I also have two eggs from my female eclectus parrot. She refused to sit on them and a few days after she laid them my male eclectus died. Putting them in the bator was a last-ditch effort to try to get something out of this pair but they appear to be clear.
