May Hatch Thread--Fill up those bators n' broodies!

well oes I hope the morning finds you and yours well and the doctors and hospitals are all of routine check ups and good luck with the lock down I do so hope the chicken gods smile down upon you this go around
humidity is perfect 102 scares me a bit but the temps at egg level are what matters I'm not sure about the incubator configuration but with my styros after removing the turners the eggs sit about a half inch lower than the incubation period so I bump up a bit to about 101.5 and that gives my 99.5 at egg level

LOL I NEVER type anymore without my glasses, its too dangerous LOL
Yes this is morning of day 21, replacement eggs were shipped, got confirmation that they arrive on tomorrow.
good deal that will give ya a ton of hatching for June I set 9 more Cochins late last night so I'll post over there later today .. I hope the eggs arrive in good shape for ya I'm on day 21 myself for my immigrant eggs so it will be a long day for me at wrk wondering what's going on in the bator I need to set up a web cam so I can check on them from the road lol if I did not have all this chicken stuff going on I might have time to do it lol

I dont work away from the farm, and days like today I wish I did. I have to move the herd. Got to get them to pastures closer to the barn by Friday. Vet will be coming, and weaning day. Storms werent as bad as we thought last night. But I bet the grass grew 3 inches overnight. Gauge says 2.2 inches of rain!
Those poor poor people in Oklahoma! Seeing those tears as they realize they have lost everything. Days like this makes you put a lot of things in perspective. I am so blessed to have never experienced something like that. To have absolutely everything you own swept away in a matter of seconds.
Going to stay busy and AWAY from the incubator.....LOL

I had seen a few post about storms but don't get much u.s news here but it is that time of the year up there you need to prepare we lived on the exit ramp of tornado alley and I have seen a few twisters cutting acrossed open corn fields and I can tell you it's scary stuff my grandmother and family lost it all in the Lorain tornado of 1925 and I lost a aunt and two cousins in the xiena tornados in the 70,s it's a bad deal all around ,,,,,,so sad,,,,,, mother nature can be cruel
