May Hatch Thread--Fill up those bators n' broodies!

Here are some hatching buddies. I have some Delaware in lock down now, some RIR's going into lockdown in a couple of days, and some RIW's going in just after those. I am going to be busy! Air sacs are crazy on my Delaware eggs. Crossing fingers. The air sacs look really crazy on the few RIR's I have, but the air sacs are looking half way decent on my RIW's. Here we go. I have some mutt eggs in that will go into lock down next Wed..so, will be a June hatch. Should be some NN's in those.

how do you have different lock down dates. do you have different incubators and what are the riw and rir or the riw. lol i am new at this and would love to learn these things

6 weeks? maybe 6 months

Nope, trust me, coturnix quail are mature and laying eggs at 6 weeks. They are egg laying machines. Only bird I have ever had that once in a while will lay two eggs in one day!

They are supposed to be normal browns. Although I already see one white one in the batch, so it is anybody's guess.
