I'm in! I just set 18 (mixed) guinea eggs, and will set a dozen mixed chicken eggs next week. With any luck they will hatch on or about May 21st.

I'm in!
Second time around. Set 12 eggs on April 13th in a LG still air,no turner.

First time only 1 of 18 hatched. Not sure where I went wrong the first time. I had several issues that most likely contributed to the bad hatch. A temp spike due to the sun hitting the incubator. Then an afternoon of loss of power - temp was down for 3 or 4 hours. Heard lots of noise the day the only chick hatched. Was sure more than one was chirping. But only ended up with the one.

Looking forward to better hatch this time.

I'm in! Just put a dozen eggs in our homemade mini-bator last night past midnight (yes! That's what we crazy chicken people do at night). It's a rather motley mix of RIR, Polish, Sebright, RIR/Sussex cross, and even a few mutts. I'm counting the beginning of incubation from today, April 18-th (since I placed the eggs past midnight), and approximate hatching date will be May 8-th.

I do wonder though... sorry if it's a silly question... the Sebright eggs are much smaller than any egg I've ever seen (it's our first shot with this breed), could they hatch sooner than the rest?

Good luck everyone!

PS: I also have a broody hen sitting on a clutch of eggs due to hatch on Saturday, so exciting!

I put in 11 eggs yesterday. Seven of them were frizzled polish eggs I bought here on BYC. The other 4 are from my white crested blue polish.
