May have lost all the eggs in my incubator....

Things have been great in the incubator until just a little bit ago. I just came in to check on the temp and humidity and I found the eggs cold. The temp was 70. The incubator plug was just hanging out of the outlet. I quickly plugged it back in. I hope I didn't lose any babies but I bet I did..I was so looking forward to new babies next week.. We were at day 9 for the chicken eggs and day 10 for the turkey eggs...

I'm willing to bet that your eggs will be fine. Far better off chilled than overheated. Depending upon how long the incubator was 'non-functional' there may be a delayed hatch date. Do not give up hope.

Thanks for responding. Late last night we candled them and saw some movement. The temp is back to normal and the humidity is fine as well. I am so relieved. I figure they might take longer to begin hatching.
