May I rant please?

I don't know if you read or not , but when I was a teen and going through these rough times, even now, I would get me a good book and just get lost in it! Just read and read, it will make things not seem so bad and you learn a lot about other people and places when you read! Try it.....Good Luck to you!

I guess I could rant a bit myself. My dad had a stroke this past Monday. I've been sitting in the hospital for days watching him have more 'mini' strokes. I could literally see the right side of his face fall then go back to normal..... I slept on a bench for two nights in a row to give my mother a break....

THEN.... THEN.... I looked in the room next door and noticed quite a few people showing up visiting the lady in the adjoining room. They all stood around crying as she passed away. They were there to see her one last time.

I suddenly realized hey my dad's still here!

Princess...........

Why the reason for the daily screaming, what makes your brother whine, and WHY is your dad cussing at you......why do you have to wait for your mother to paint your nails?

Don't be in a state of apathy..... do something about it if you can....

Read, take a long walk, ride a bike, get some fresh air.... lots of thing to do to brighten the spirit, you just have to want to do it....

Now get up from that chair and take a walk round the garden.....

I'm with English Chick. Maybe you could paint your nails yourself? After all, when you're grown, mom won't be around to do them for you then, either.

I tried... ONCE. Epic fail.

haha, the day i have anyone (or myself) paint my nails will be the day. lol

life sucks, but it gets better. it may be stormy now, but it can't rain forever.

i have my own amount of troubles too. i've had to deal with backstabbing friends (different friends all the time) ever since 2nd grade, i'm in 9th now. boy problems, that really don't seem like problems once they are over. the death of two of my beloved ducks. my dumb social anxiety disorder and depression. my dad going crazy and almost breaking my finger and arm. having to run away in the dark and cold 3 miles to my mom's work so i was safe again, but all the bad times you go through make you a better person, and makes you appreciate things much more. the people that go through life without a problem are spoiled and normally mean and don't appreciate what they do have.
like, i DO have my ducks and i love them, i have about 8 horses i can ride anytime for free, my favorite is miss miley! some wonderful friends you do find along the way. it balances out in the long run. just hold on and don't give up.

I have to say that practice makes perfect on that one. Just make sure you have plenty of polish remover handy.
