I got eggs in the mail yesterday, but not sure who they are from. They were expertly wrapped up tight and arrived in perfect condition. I removed them from the box and set the box aside. My son was doing his chores and picked the box up and took it out to the burn pile. I never even saw the name or where they were from. Going into the incubator tonight.

I forgot to say that my quail eggs came yesterday from Mr. Heinz (side swap). All made it safe and sound! Thanks-I will be overrun with quail in a couple of weeks!
One of the quail eggs from Sadar exploded this morning! Thankfully, it was only in a couple days, and it was a tiny egg!

I have d'Uccles hatching in that incubator right now, so I couldn't clean it very well and it stinks!

twice in the same city, on 2 different days even!

well, considering i'm nowhere near atlanta, it really wouldn't matter. but yes, the mail went by the shop today and he called to tell me i had 2 boxes. but not yours... if gas wasn't so horrible i'd just drive down to atlanta and pitch a royal fit! it's only about 8 hours from here.

if it's a hovabator, go online to gqf's website, you can order extra bases. when i had 2 marans eggs pop on me last week i moved what i could to the other 'bator and then swapped out the bottom/turner. gave me an excuse to put in a quail rail while i was at it. weird thing is, the odor moved with the eggs, but they all look good. after about 2 days the odor was nearly gone. all i can think is that the good eggs sucked in some of the stink and it took a bit to vent back out. but they're still kicking. hatch is the 30th for most of them.

Now to figure out what they are??? They are smaller than any eggs I've gotten before so I don't have a clue, lol.

That is up to the sender if they wish to send more. Sometimes the person getting the eggs helps with shipping. As long as you have a DC#, you lived up to your end of the bargain. If it has been 5 business days, you can call the PO and start a claim.
