Maybe not an OEG after all?

I will be THRILLED if thats what she is...I always covet the Modern Games. She does look very much like a not-show-quality version of one, so I have my fingers crossed!

The hatchery just replied and said they think she is a Russian Orloff. The trouble is, she has a single comb and is bantam sized. What is up with this bird?!

Looks like an OEGB to me... I raised some hatchery level peeps and they looked exactly like this.

Doesnt look leggy enough to be a modern game to me.

I'm thinking you have a mottled or speckled OEGB. The problem is that hatchery birds can deviate so far outside the norm of the breed that you may have to wait until it's done fully feathering to know what they intended to breed.

I'm fairly certain your chick is a spangled OEGB. I have a spangled hen, and she was colored exactly like that when she was feathering in.
