mc rib or mc fatness

I feel torn about admitting, on this thread, that I have never eaten anything from McDonalds.

Imp- the last one

I read about it over on the huff post site.Someone had posted a homemade recipe for the McRib(sounded yummy),and then talked about what the real deal was with the restaurant one.True about the pieces and parts. No different than hot dogs, but I guess when you hear RIB you think rib meat not innards.

And I agree with the poster who mentioned moderation - like eating a ton of dessert type foods - it's not doing your body any service. All that stuff is meant to be a tasty, fattening, non-nutritious "treat" - at least in my mind.

Keith still insists on hitting the Sonic from time to time, though not nearly as often as he used to. When left without a choice I will eat onion rings and (rarely) mazorrela sticks. Still bad for you, but at least not filled with mystery meat and since I don't fry food at home at all, a rare treat.

Add me to the "never had a McRib Club" but then, I don't eat actual ribs, either. I'm not much of a carnivore. When fast food is 15 miles away and gasoline is over $3/gallon, you don't just run out for a burger when you live at poverty level. When we do eat out, it's rarely satisfying. We did go to Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Day so DH could get his free meal and that is some really good, real food and quite cost effective when you consider the cost of meat today, which we rarely eat anymore, period.
