cuz you're watchin it too?

first of all, let me note that I WORK for mcdonalds.

no I do not LIKE it, but...

if you were asked to wait it is because it DOES take about 9 minutes to FRY the crispy chicken for those salads, about 5 or 6 minutes for grilled. it's not ALL done automatically.

stuff DOES run out, ther ARE other people who are before you, there MAY NOT be alot of people working that day.

you DO NOT know what goes on behind the scene.

I've worked days where it's just ME and one other person in the grill area, and let me TELL you, it does get hectic!, all people in their cars have to do is sit and wait, the people inside are busting their butts for your orders.

the food WILL get done, and they DO bring it to you.

I have worked at mcdonalds for a year come august, and I have heard some of the DUMBEST complains.

one time this BIG FAT, ugly arse bull-dog-faced, rooster waddles-down-to-her-knees, obviously-need-a-salad, lady in a MOO-MOO. came in COMPLAINING that there were DEAD leaves on the salad, and I'm in the dining area cleaning tables, laughing to myself thinking "what IS a salad, but a pile of DEAD plant leaves?"

another time, someone complained that the SWEET tea, was TOO SWEET
th.gif
, who the heck complains about this stuff????????

usually the teas not sweet ENOUGH, I can atest to that.

a couple other things come to mind, but I can't remember them.

the point is, you had to wait, big deal, next time GO IN to the store, or go back in the kitchen and make your food yourself, see how that flies.

I used to be a complainer about stuff like that, but having worked there, I understand why stuff is like it is.

You know, it take about 10 minutes to grill that chicken and if the time is up on the already prepared ones you will have to wait for fresh. If you are not prepared to wait for fresh food, don't go at theh busy times, they only prepare a certain amount as so to not have alot of waste.

Many, many years ago I worked at McDonalds. If we had a customer wait that long in the drive-thru, we would have been fired. If the restaurant is understaffed, that is poor management.

You know that chicken is already cooked and all they have to do is put it on the grill and flip it.

uhm, NO that chicke is NOT already cooked, it is completely raw, now, if you want raw chicken, I can get in touch with the mcdonalds in your area......

before you go slandering restraunts and such, maybe get your facts right.

When I worked at BK we weren't allowed to pull people up at all. If you couldn't get the food to the window in time then you were fired. The drive-thru was more important than the instore customers.

Several friends and relatives have worked for McD and they said the only thing is raw are the hamburgers. The rest of them are like Tyson's precooked frozen items, heat and serve items.

DQ is the same way, no way they can cook chicken raw to cook in a few minutes unless you microwave them!

All of them have containers to keep food warm. I have seen it time to time again the employees pulled out the drawer, pull out grilled or fried chicken out of the drawer and serve it on a bun or salad.

It may be all depends on where you live too because not all McD are created equal!

I can talk to the manager here in my town to see if they cook their raw chicken or precooked chicken.

all restraunts are different, some of more strict than others, the one I work at, everyone are druggies, and smoke, even the managers...they arn't the best...but still, as I said it does take TIME to cook, NONE of it is already cooked.
