McDonald's Shrek glasses recalled

Just wanted everyone to know. 12 million glasses are being recalled because they have cadmium in the paint, which is a carcinogen that can cause bone softening and severe kidney problems.

Yep, that they were.

So was all the kids' jewelry that was recalled as well, from places like Wal-Mart and the Dollar Store. (Mentioned in the article.)

We SHOULD buy American or at least European and Mexican, but that is almost impossible to find kids' toys made from anywhere other than China. Maybe we need to bring back wooden yo-yos and glass marbles?

Are they the heavy type glass or very light weight glass? I like the heavier type glass because they do not shatter as bad.
