its their pull up ur breed and select straight run or pullets or cockerels

perhaps it was the particular chickens you were looking at. I was able to order pullets in RIR's, Leghorns, Sussex, Barred Rock and Dark Cornish. I selected March for delivery which could also be affecting your choices. Good luck.

Hi,
It must be the breeds, I looked up:
Partridge Cochin Bantams
and bantams of other breeds andark Brahma Bantams etc...
and
White Silkies :
White Cochin Bantams
No pullets on those types just straight runs.

Buff Orpingtons : they had these listed seperate tho' maybe have to wait or do they normally not sell the others as pullet only?

I think they do, but not if you are looking at the availability page. Some of their chicks can only be bought as straight runs, and others you can get your choice. If you are looking at the page that shows the next 5 hatch availability, then click on the breed, and it will give you the different prices.
