you should had all your friend call up and order the same thing and then just hang up.

Did you get the girls name?

What? You know my level of intelligence about this situation? That's a little disconcerting.
Where in the world did I say or imply anything about your intelligence? As far as I know your knowledge of this situation comes from reading the OP, same as mine. That's one person's account of what happened. If you were there or were party to the exchange then perhaps you know more. If not, you don't know any more about it than I do.

I mentioned to the original feed that make sure you have them hold the order until it is full same thing I did and it ended upa disaster cause they sent what they had.

My chicks are here from McMurrays Hatchery. They are adorable, and there are more of them than I ordered! They threw in a couple of homeless dark cornish and white laced red cornish chicks.

I have to say I'm delighted with my transaction and the product, and even with the post office.

Sorry that the OP had a bad experience. Hope all y'all have a good week in all things chicken!

(I'm glad someone warned me that when they're sleeping they look dead!)

I went to Cackle hatchery Wow it is a cool place the people there were amazingly helpful. Even after i brought the chicks home for a week i had a question and i called them up and they gave me the answer i needed and more. I never had chickens before and they helped me every step of the way and explained everything. Even saved me my 15 leghorns on a last min order and stayed late until i got there. Then i ended up buying 2 ducks for my son after getting there. I never lost one of there chicks until a coon killed 2 of them the rest I still have. They hatch there eggs out right there. This place takes the whole block up. it looks like an old street were all the store are right next to each other and they connected them all together to make up the hatchery. They have a store to buy anything for your chickens and the chickens or fowl. It was well worth the 50 mile trip to go there and see.

The visit to the hatchery sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could do that. Here in Alaska, it would be a bit of a drive, and I'd need a passport to get through Canada! Some of the hatcheries won't even ship here because of the distance.

But we still manage to get our chicks!
