I wanted to post on here, since I am dealing with MCM right now regarding my order.
Several months ago I placed my order for 8 WR, and 25 SR of the Special Ass. Bargain chicks. I got the call from the main post office on Saturday night that they had arrived (The shipping date was supposed to be today....
) but that they were not doing well. We weren't home at the time, but were able to pick them up Sunday evening.
I have called McMurray, and the nice lady said to
wait a full 48 hours after pick-up from the post office to "assess the damage" (My words, not hers...) since there were a few that were not well and some already DOA....
Anyways, I wanted to let everyone know that you should wait the 48 hours, and then call...and try to keep track of the breeds that have passed. It's fun to try to identify chicks when you get them.....
But not in this case.
And that...
Guineas ship on Tuesdays.....I asked since I have an order of those coming as well....I wanted to be ready to get those babies as soon as they come off the plane...(which my post office wants anyways...)
Hope this thread helps others like it has helped me...!!
