Me and my family are new flockers and the breeder we got her from said she had a cross beak, we weigh her every day and have a bowl for her, she is also very active, I just need to know if I could do anything else for her.:fl

The main thing is to be sure the chick does eat enough food and gain weight properly, and I see you are already doing that. If you aren't sure how fast she "should" grow, you can use another chick the same age to compare: just weigh each chick, and see if they gained similar amounts.

You might need to trim or file her beak sometimes, since she doesn't wear it down properly herself.

The beak is much like toenails on a chicken or a dog. It grows from the base, wears off at the tip, and has a quick in the middle. If you cut or file the quick, it bleeds and it hurts the chicken. So be careful when trimming. Also watch out for her tongue, so you don't trim that either.
