mean chick?

I have three one week old chicks. One of my chicks is chasing another one around, pecking at her and trying to get food before her. She's been doing it since last night, and only to this one specific chic. Is it something I should worry about?

Chicken politics can be brutal. Keep on eye on it. If it just normal nonsense, that's OK. If it causes injury or goes too far, you'll have to yank her/him out.

I agree, just watch and make sure it doesn't get any more serious. My babies are 5 weeks old and we had a bully, Now she is the top hen and things have settled down considerably. There was pecking, chasing, pushing the other chicks off their perches while sleeping and jumping on them. There was no serious injury and in the last week or so they have figured it out on their own. Good luck!
