It arrived today and I just installed it in my run. The Mean Girl Prison. It fits right under the coop thanks to a little raking and fiddling.

Here's Purdence the Plymouth Rock sentenced to an indefinite term.

Here's Lavina the Legbar taking advantage of visiting hours.

And here are the little girls in another part of the run. They are standing relatively still and being able to eat and drink for the first time in a month! Note Violet the Lavender Orpington's purple bottom. OUCH!!!

I don't have any idea. I'm doing this by the seat of my pants.

Anyone know how long it takes to break mean girl behavior?
I would give it several days...reopen the cell door....and observe. If aggression reoccurs, lock her up again for a couple of days. Repeat as necessary. Good luck!!!!!

I let her out to roost in the coop last night. They all behave pretty well up there. Then I put her back in this morning with fresh water and feed.

I guess if she lays today she'll do it in there.

Interestingly, now that the little girls (8wo) are less frantic running from Prudy, I am seeing some Little League mean girl behavior from one of them...
