Mean reds

I am raising some broiler chickens that will be ready to butcher in a few weeks and I just got some rhode island reds for laying hens and the hens are attacking and pecking the broiler chickens. what should I do? think they will stop? should I separate them?

Since you will be killing the broilers in a couple of weeks, I would separate them from the layers. They should be on different feeds anyway, and the stress of being bullied will slow growth in your broilers.
