Which would drop the protein content of the 18% feed down to about 16%, not enough to really support their growth rate. Next time you raise meaties, don't add corn to the feed.

So I only buy 21% protein broiler mash ever. I cut that with corn to get to 18% protein broiler mash. But I only do that after the 3rd week is over.

Also this time of year it's colder and the daylight hours are less. They eat less and use more of it to stay warm.

The strain of CC's may have something to do with it as well.

Yup gonna try different feed next week, a good one like rjohns39 suggested, next year gonna try Cobb 500's
