My family and I are interested in becoming a little more self sufficient. We have done one round of Cornish cross chicks for the freezer already. It went well, but there were some lessons learned. We did pasture them.
We would now like to attempt ducks. The jumbo Peking.
The question:
Can ducks and chickens (both for meat) be raised together in a pastured pen?
I am aware that ducks cannot have medicated feed. Other than that, are there any hitches?
