Hi, hoping someone can help me. I have a 3/4 giant chin 1/4 NZ doe I am going to breed with a 7/8 giant chin 1/8 NZ buck. What will be the ratio for the babies? How much chin how much NZ?

I have no idea. The best meat rabbits are Californians, New Zealands, and Florida Whites. I have read the problem with breeds like Flemish Giants is that they tend to be rangy and don't make a nice blocky carcass. They also take more feed per pound of meat.

We used to raise flemish and I do not like their meat to bone ratio. I do like the giant chinchilla however they have a better ratio. I am just trying to figure out if I breed the 7/8 buck with the 3/4 doe how much chin and how much NZ they would be lol. The person I got them from said they would be like 15/16 chin and 1/16 NZ but that doesnt sound quite right.

Figured it out if I did the math right babies Will be 5/8 chin 3/8 NZ.
