So when I got my chicks at TSC, there were only 3 left in pullets, so they made me buy a random straight run to make 4 (that’s the requirement for purchase) and turns out it was a Cornish x Broiler. He’s huge. I do not want to slaughter chickens, so I’m unsure how to care for him. Hes really sweet and it’s breaking my heart that he probably won’t live long. Any suggestions?

Butchering him would be the most humane way to go about this. He will just get bigger and more unhealthy as time goes on. He will be unable to walk soon. So sorry:hugs Or getting him put down at a vet office would be another option.

I would look around your area and see if there are any places that will butcher and process him for you. Hes already so big and will just continue until hes suffering.
