A lot of people including myself asked this question about a year ago. I was going to try it and it worked very well. I fed 1 batch of 50 CX's with pure chicken feed and 1 with Chicken switching to pig feed (week 4 was the last of the chicken feed). 5 weeks later the pig feed chickens did as good or better that the other ones, I think they did better on it but not sure exactly numbers wise (birds were about 1 lb bigger but a week or so older).
