Meat ducks

The duck butcher times are bassed on avoiding pin feathers. I was going to do 12.5 but the timing didn’t work so that’s why I’m going for 18. Ducks grow faster than chickens but I don’t think there is anything in the duck word that compares to the CX.

The two Cayuga drakes weighed in at 3 lbs 5 oz and 3 lbs 10 oz. much smaller than I expected. It took me almost 1.5 hours to pluck and as you can see I still didn’t get everything. I’ll clean them up more before cooking.
