Hatched this from a mixed breed meat bird pen. Seems it is not a once in a lifetime sport, I have several of them.

Very pretty birds . Any idea what they are crossed with? I really like the one in the second pic.

They are high percentage Cornish for sure.

Looks like someone had some hidden barring in their genes. Is it a pullet or a cockerel?

I had a Leghorn/Dominique chick that had similar coloring. Apparently the leghorn parent wasn't completely dominant white.

Silly me, had the brightness down so couldn't see.

I got a similar one out of my meat mutts as well.

This pretty barred boy came in the Red Rangers I ordered last summer.

I love mixes, you never know what you are going to get.

I used to have some BSL running around here for eggs so I would guess the barring may have come from them? I just have no idea where the blue came from. I can't tell sex yet and am wondering if it may be sex linked? I may put them in a breeding pen to see what I can get from them.
