Meat rabbits gaining to slowly

What can I add to my 16% pellets to make them gain quicker? I can't get any higher protien in the pellets around here.

16% is just not going to cut it for the big breeds. You need to find a way to get in at least 18%. Try adding oats for calorie content and Alfalfa for now.

I feed all my commercial breeds 16% and they usually gain just fine.

You can mix in some Calf Manna to speed along weight gains though, I didn't really see a difference when I fed it though.
