Meatie without a bile duct?

We are about a quarter of the way finished with this flock of meaties. I just processed one tonight that didn't have a bile duct. What's the deal with that? Anyone else see this before?

The little green sac that's attached to the liver. The one you always have to be careful not to break...

i ve processed a bunch and they have always had that, guineas have it, and i believe turkeys as well, how old are they aroun 4-6 weeks? if they dont have 1 i would say it hasnt yet

Nope...they are 13 weeks or so. This is the only chicken I've ever come across without one.

13 weeks and your only 1/4 of the way your done, i take it there not cornish x rocks, or have you slowed them way down?

Nope, they are the J.M. Freedom Rangers...

We've had some unfortunate personal family stuff going on in the last month, so we got a late start getting them processed. We had 40 to start out with though we lost 3 to random occurances throughout their grow-out time.
