How much do they weigh? I can't read the scale. And, how old are they, Lindsay?
Here is a pic from this morning. Yours look further developed than mine.

Mine will be 3 weeks on tues. the girls average at about 1-1 1/2 lbs and the boy is almost 2 lbs. He wasn't standing on the scale right in the pic, so its not accurate.

heres the little pen I made for them....Not the prettiest, I know. But hey, it was all scrap and it works! They have a tarp folded over the top and sides to keep the sun/rain off of them.....

Here's mine. Don't ask how much it cost.

They are out in it 24/7 now, with the light on at night. It's been very warm here, but a cool front came through and it's supposed to be 48 tonight. I think they will be fine with the sides rolled down and a light on. It was 52 this morning and they seemed fine.

You can see the layer pen in the background.

Just got 29 18 day old Cx from TSC. I couldn't pass up the deal, 6 bucks for the lot of them. Plus 2 who are younger. Trying them with the other 3 week olds, they seem more DP than Cx.

Nice deal! Our TSC sells out of chicks the day they get them, and I'm always so jealous when I hear others talk about the older bargain chicks.

Weighed mine today, and it looks like they're averaging a little over a pound. We're catching up, finally! And it's still too cold for them to go out. Hopefully the fresh air and spring grass will get them growing faster, if it ever warms up!

Oh No! Now they are predicting 46 degrees for the low tonight. May try to add some insulation. What do you all think? I threw away the stinky cardboard brooder.
