Medical Mystery, can you help solve?

An update on Henry: after 5 days on Safe Guard, and 3 days on low dose prednisone and vitamins/electrolytes, I have noticed some improvement, but the head shaking and unsteadiness are still occurring. However, he does seem a bit stronger, he is preening more, showing interest in the hens, and his droppings are larger in size than they were before. If his problem was due to worms, how long would it take to see improvement after taking Safe Guard? Any further thoughts are appreciated. Here is a video from today:

He does look better. I think the worming and prednisone, etc, is a good treatment. Posting your videos is great. I hope he continues to improve.

This is very difficult to do, but I feel an obligation to everyone who read my post, watched my videos, and offered suggestions for how to help Henry. Nothing was helping him get better, so I finally found a vet who treated chickens and took Henry for an appointment. Her diagnosis is that it was either an inner ear infection or a tumor in the inner ear. I had previously checked Henry's ears, but without an otoscope they looked normal. She recommended giving Henry Tylan which I did, orally at first. Unfortunately, the second time I gave him the medicine, he aspirated and died a week later.

I am very grateful for all of the advice and support provided in this forum. Obviously I blame myself for Henry's death, but I am trying not to be too hard on myself. Instead, I am trying to think of this as a learning experience that will benefit the rest of my flock. I have also decided to expand my flock, so I now have six new baby chicks in a brooder in my garage. I wish I could have posted a happy ending for Henry, but at least you know the diagnosis.

Thank you again.
