Apparently there was a huge fire or something(just a guess) at the feed mill where all the places around get their feed from. I can find no unmedicated feed anywhere.

My meaties are 13 weeks old and I plan on harvesting them next week. They are sufficiently large...

I did find one place that had medicated feed. Is it safe to give to 13 week old birds? They were given the Coccidiosis vaccine when they were chicks.

As far as I know, there is a withdrawl period for medicated feed before you can kill to eat. You need to check on the individual feed variety, but I believe it's somewhere around 2 weeks. Maybe you could try mixing your own food seeing as it's just for a short time? Grain, kitchen scraps etc?

Hmmm, Well it looks like I'm processing tomorrow!

Feed 'em crack corn and layer pellets if nothing else is available. The corn would be good for finishing and the calcium in the layer wouldn't be a problem for a week. Good luck.

hey everyone!

i just had the same question and was wondering if i could finish on milk+cracked corn.

i just checked my broiler feed bag (thanks Steve!) and it said it was ok to use to finish.... but i'm not sure if i believe them. its medicated.

any thoughts??
