medicated feed

I have rabbits, a baby goat & my chickens all in the same pen. My goat is weaning off the bottle and starting pellet feed and I was told to use medicated for her first bag. I feed all the animals together and they always tend to share each other's food but I was told you're not supposed to eat the eggs if the hens are eating the medicated goat feed? Why is it bad and is it a really big deal?
