My chicks have had non medicated feed but when I went to the store they were out of everything but medicated chick feed so I got it will it hurt them if I give it to them or will they be ok? Thanks in advance.

Did you order them from the hatchery direct or purchase them from the store? If ordered direct, did you opt for the coccidiosis vaccine? The only reason that it would be advised against feeding the medicated feed would be if they were vaccinated.

I got them from tractor supply. So it would be OK for them to have it? They were on un medicated chick starter and grower and their almost 9 weeks and this bag is medicated starter and grower, so its safe to give them?

It's fine, and recommended that it's fed for the first three months or so, to help prevent illness from coccidia.  Mary

Thank you, also is it OK to feed medicated feed to older chickens that are in the coop with baby chicks. What I'm asking is can you use it for all ages?
