Just Alice so far. When I candled a few days ago, with a not so great flashlight, I can see the air pocket and the rest is dark. I don't think all of the eggs are the same age but we can't remember the time lapse between eggs appearing in the nest

The first baby hatched out on Wednesday but died. Second one last night. I'm not panicked yet but I will be soon!

Tried to search but all I found was folks saying they did it.

Candeling is when you put the egg over a light source so you can see its progression. Back before there were lights, they used candles, hence the term. Here's an excellent post about it.

I believe Nugget is an old english bantam but I don't know the exact breed. Maybe someone here will?

Alices mother is an EE and her father is a seabright. I'll see if I can find a photo of them and post it tomorrow.

The mother is either a brown OEGB, or a Brown Dutch.
