I don’t think that’s a cockerel. Looks like a mature pullet/hen. There’s nothing to indicate cockerel.

Give her some time to adjust and she should start giving you some pretty eggs.

I'm pretty sure I'm seeing hackle feathers coming in, its comb seems too big to be a pullet, and its got that cockerel-ish look.

Looks like a hen to me, not seeing any saddles feathers. Also looks like she might be a dwarf.

Dwarf as in Bantam? Not to be rude, but no, she/he is three times as big as any of my birds and almost as big as my neighbor's big ugly production Wyandotte roo

I think he is a roo but young..under a year for sure...I could be wrong. My boys waddles and long tail feathers weren't fully developed till a year ..

No, dwarf as in her legs seem truncated, but maybe it's just an odd angle.
