Bubbles looked to have a large comb so I agree cockerel. AS to your others two birds will not be depressed, they have each other.

Give them some watermelon to feast on and I'm sure they will forget all about Bubbles.

True, chickens don't have very long memories! And yes, the fact that you have two is great. I doubt they'll even remember him within a few days.
