Meet my babies!

Based on what? None of these chicks is sexable at this time....certainly none are currently showing male characteristics.
I call it the "line". There is a line behind the eye on some of the chicks. If the line goes behind to down below the ear it is a girl. If the line goes only to the ear and does not go down below the ear it is a male.

Wouldn't we need to know what breed of bird it is to even begin trying to sex them that way?

So many breeds are mottled and striped as chicks.

I haven't had troubles yet of which breed. I discovered it on my OEG bantams, since hand I've been seeing it on my EE mix chicks.

While this may anecdotally be your experience it is not based in any factual information and presenting it as such is irresponsible, especially when addressing persons new to the poultry world without their own knowledge bade against which they could judge your statemrnts
