Meet my Chick!

So I clearly never got post on the plans.

Good news, it is done. It once again took all day. Lord this was a project.

Here is how complex the frame was!

I got the sides on. I repurposed some plug wood from the coop and scraps from the walls of the pool shed itself. In order to accurately cut a top for it I made a cardboard template!

I was able to cut the roof perfectly the first time and attached it to the main shed with some simple latches.

I had to paint the roof before the rain arrived tomorrow. We are considering painting the whole shed white with the roof the minty color of the coop. Sort of the mirror image of the coop. So as a test, I painted the entire electrical box white. What does everybody think?

I love it. Very cleverly done! Still think it needs a chicken silhouette - particularly if you go with the white and minty-green.

This is very well made. It looks nice rather than being an eyesore on your property!
