You know, I never really considered getting Easter Eggers. My feed store was selling *Araucanas, so I got one. Then I learned that feed stores don’t sell real *Araucanas, but my feed store’s supplier hatchery (Privette) sells “Americanas,” which are really EEs. Well, she is the sweetest, most cuddly pullet I have had yet and I adore her!!! I don’t really care what breed she is. I also wasn’t sure I was fond of the beard and muffs, but... they are oh so cute. I’m sold!
