Inspired by MJ.
I decided to sit down for a real breakfast rather than grabbing something on the go.
Clearing the dining room table was a step too far, but it is sunny and 60 degrees (F) so I have taken myself outside to enjoy the Fall colors (Autumn colours if you prefer).
Thank you MJ, this is such a civilized way to start the day.
Avocado on toast with Diana’s egg laid an hour or so ago. It just doesn’t get much better than this!

Wow!! What a delightful meal on a cornishware plate! With a cat mug! And a cute teapot! The milk jug is a cutie tooots too! How was your mind after that meal? Was it a little more contented than beforehand?

Thank you. She is a very cool cat. Her wild side is not far below the surface.

I can see that. She was clearly on the prowl. Mine gets out and rolls onto his back meowing.

Totally! I sat out in the sun for another pot of tea and the cats all napped on the flagstones. A heavenly morning. I achieved nothing and I don’t care!

It is so nice I just can't get any work done. I've been quite the load today. The chickens have as well. If fact they have been looking for shade today. They were lying in wait for me right outside the back door.

I got NO eggs today!! ... that has never happened! I’m only getting about 4 or 5 eggs as of late.. but none.... I have 13 layers.. 6 of them are just over 2 and a half years.. 6 of them are about a year and a half... and Clementine just started laying... and almost everyone is molting...
