I do believe I have done the right thing... I am so happy with my beautiful flock of hens! It just seems so peaceful today! I am relieved... thank you for asking

He will be fine once he gets situated in his new home with his new hens.

I am working on the electrical box today for the shed. Here are my fancy plans. I need more 2x2s as I have decided not to use 2x4s. I am off to the lumber yard. Ugh.

So I clearly forgot to hit post on the plans.

Good news, it is done. It once again took all day. Lord this was a project.

Here is how complex the frame was!

I got the sides on. I repurposed some plug wood from the coop and scraps from the walls of the pool shed itself. In order to accurately cut a top for it I made a cardboard template!

I was able to cut the roof perfectly the first time and attached it to the main shed with some simple latches.

I had to paint the roof before the rain arrived tomorrow. We are considering painting the whole shed white with the roof the minty color of the coop. Sort of the mirror image of the coop. So as a test, I painted the entire electrical box white. What does everybody think?
