Welcome to BYC, Nick and Rachel! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm sorry about the loss of your Speckled Sussex. It's always sad to lose one of our flock. You have a beautiful flock. I've raised Black Sex Links (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids, including the ones you have) for years, and they are egg laying machines. My Black Sex Links have consistently been my best layers. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
