Identity crisis. This is my first time raising chickens and I am trying to match them to the hatchery magazine.

What are possible breeds? Where is the little chick from?

I don't know a lot about breeds with feathered feet as I do not own nor have I ever owned any. With a bit more information someone might be able to hazard a guess for you.

I purchased a rainbow assortment from stromberg hatchery. So eventually when they feather up maybe I will be able to identify. Some loik like pheasants.

not aways. Sometimes when there young they dont have puffed heads. Is its beak a blackish-grey? And does it have blueish-black skin? And silkies usually have 5 toes.
