This is the 1st little chick that hatched under our broody, it is either a Golden Comet x Dominique cross or a Buff Orp x Dominique cross. It is the spunkiest little thing!! It will go after it's momma's wattles. It was pecking at her wattles yesterday and she jerked her head up fast and the little thing was hanging in the air by the wattles. It was one of the funniest things ever!!! It is so much fun to watch a momma hen and her chicks, I think way better than an incubator hatch.
