can I use melaleuca mulch in my chicken coop?

Apparently there are certain toxic components to melaleuca. I wouldn't use it without doing research.

I have never heard of it either but if @sourland and @Pork Pie say not to, its probably not good to use. There must be other mulches available? I love mulch in the coop and run. Clean, non dusty, easy to clean and light weight.
