Members reporting "jumpy" pages

We've seen a handful of peeps are reporting that the page is "jumping" and it's not specific to members that see or don't see ads, (that was my first guess).

If you're seeing this, reply with VERY specific details of the problem, exactly what is happening, when it's not, and what exactly goes on when it happens? Also post info about the device you are on and the browser & version.

The page jumps when I'm typing... But it's random, not consistent. It's worse when I try to add emojis. It moves the cursor around in the text field, or sometimes it will bump me all the way up to the top of the page. Sometimes it does it when I'm finished typing and attempt to post, it jumps up to the top of the page.
I'm using an Android mobile with Chrome browser.

I think you might be on to something with the emojis. It does happen a lot then.

I'm on my cell phone device. I notice it to be jumping about when I try to put in BYC emojis & then try to return to my text box, which in itself is awkward since working in a 1"x2" area of the screen. It just this instant did it, when it threw up the blue box about more messages being posted.....

and it jumped me to a different location of the page. Also Android & Chrome.

Oh, also if I'm typing and someone posts new comments, when the alert pops up it bumps me... it moves the cursor off where I'm typing and places it in the middle of what I've written.

Yes, I have also noticed that the “view new messages” pop up interrupts my typing. It is pauses text entry and moves your screen view up to where you can see the message. So for example when I was typing my view looked like this

Then the pop up came, interrupted my text entry and shifted my screen view to this (it no longer shows anything I typed in the comment box. It is only showing the pop up and the end of a post I quoted from someone else)

On a slow moving thread, the issue is not very noticeable. But on a fast moving thread (like the feedback thread the first day of the update) it really becomes obvious.

I am using safari web browser on my iPhone running iOS 12.4.1

Exactly what it's doing on mine, to me.

I have noticed, for me at least, the random jumping while I'm typing is not doing it as often this evening as it was last night and this morning.
The new message pop up, it does that consistently.

many times that second enter will cause the cursor to jump somewhere with highlighted text and as soon as you type, it deletes whatever is highlighted.

This is what mine is doing too or similar. When I hit enter it will often jump somewhere or highlight something and delete it. But it’s not consistent and doesn’t happen every time I hit enter. But pretty often and sometimes does it when I add emojis too. But the hitting enter and it deleting highlighted stuff happens quite often. But sometimes when I add emojis it deletes what was there. I have found hitting the undo button I can reverse it but it’s pretty annoying and also makes me look like an idiot sometimes when I hit post and something random is deleted/missing. I have to check before I hit post. Also it does not seem to ever jump down for me. Always jumps up in the text box.
