Because there's a competition to guess when the page count hits a million(I think it's a million). They all want to know if they won the automatic door opener yet and if there is a delay in page counts showing up they could miss out on a technicality.

Thank you for the explanation. Nice prize but a million posts! WOW! I'm chatty but that's one heck of a lot of posts I think if I were to ever hit 1M, I'd be too senile to know what a chicken or duck is.lol
