Mereks vaccine question

Can you give the mereks vaccine to a 5 week old chick? I have someone picking up some birds and they asked about getting them vaccinated. I vaccinate as day olds upon request, but I didn't vaccinate these ones as they weren't part of an order.

I did some that were much older than that last year. The younger they are the better chance of catching them before they get exposed to the virus. Mine had actually already been exposed and I had birds dying from it. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. It worked on most of them (I still lost four more but have eight that are healthy, happy and laying.) Just got 16 babies that are all vaccinated so hopefully we can avoid some of the drama.
